Having established a formidable reputation and a wide-ranging customer base as Church's Catering, the Church's business was acquired by Hossain Rezaei, a north east-based entrepreneur with many years experience in the food industry, most notably with Pride Valley Foods which he founded and subsequently sold in 2006 and current north east dining hotspot Flatbread Cafe.

Church's was rebranded Bedou-Kitchen early 2009, benefiting from a fresh new image to drive the business forward whilst retaining the same management and production team, including Kris Blackburn, the founder and driving force behind Church's Catering who remains the head of Bedou business as General manager and shareholder.
